Equipment introduction:
The rotary furnace is a cylindrical industrial furnace, the outer wall is a steel structure, and the inner wall is made of refractory materials. The furnace body is equipped with two rotating tracks and a giant high-strength gear ring. The whole furnace body is supported by two sets of high-strength steels, powered by the motor reducer, and the meshing between the gears drives the entire furnace body to move evenly and smoothly , so that the contact surface between the material layer and the activated gas in the furnace is continuously updated to ensure uniform activation reaction. In order to prevent the gear from damaging the hearth, a gap of 0.5cm is left between the two.
At present, the common types of activated carbon in the market are coconut shell, apricot shell, walnut shell, hawthorn shell, peach shell, coal, palm shell, charcoal and other materials that can produce activated carbon. It mainly relies on the advantages of local resources.
The equipment adopts automatic control system. The furnace body of the activation furnace is mainly composed of silo, elevator, feeder, furnace body, refractory, rotating device, temperature measuring device, activation device, cooling device, sedimentation chamber, boiler, fan and automatic PLC control system of dust removal device.

 

Introduction to the activation principle:

After the organic matter is carbonized at high temperature, a considerable part of the carbide remains in the micropores of the activated carbon.
At this time, an activator is required for gasification reaction, so that the residual carbide is at about 900-1050°C, it is gasified into carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and other gases, so that the microporous surface of activated carbon is cleaned and its adsorption performance is restored. That is, the temperature required for activation is higher.
